This course was started in alignment with SPICE PD Goal A which was to establish an integrated oral and primary healthcare clinical training program for UCLA Community Health and Advocacy training in Pediatric Dentistry (CHAT-PD), Advanced Education General Dentistry (AEGD), pediatric medicine, and nursing programs.
The course is held annually for AEGD and GPR residents.
This course introduces the AEGD and GPR residents to the basics of children’s oral health with a focus on risk-based diagnosis and treatment planning.
